Corporate Social ResponsIBILITY
We are committed to corporate social responsibility because we know that as much as the communities contribute to our schools, our schools also have a responsibility to give back to their communities. We actively contribute to the areas in which we operate by providing our time and resources. We initiate projects that are tailored specifically to each area to combine the best of our school’s resources and expertise with the needs of the community. This enables our students to better understand the diversity of the world and the people around them.
SISB CSR-ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROJECT
The SISB Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-English Language Project was launched by SISB on 1 October 2016, in collaboration with Wat Praram 9 (Praram 9 Temple) and Praram 9 Kanchanapisek School. The SISB Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-English Language Project is an 18-week programme which aims to provide English language lessons to students from Praram 9 Kanchanapisek School, from Primary 1 to 6 to help them gain basic knowledge in English language. In addition, SISB hopes to fundamentally improve the students' fundamental reading, speaking and comprehension skills. The lessons are complimentary for the learners and are jointly conducted by the teacher, staff and student volunteers of SISB Schools.
In line with the mission of SISB Group to “To educate, enhance and empower diverse learning communities to be contributing global citizens”, SISB hopes that through harnessing the school’s effective resources and facilities, they are able to provide education opportunities to learners of diverse communities and age groups. This project also allows the volunteer educators and assistants from SISB an opportunity to share their knowledge and make a contribution to the local communities.
